The Xbox 360 version was later included in the PopCap Arcade Vol. These versions feature local multiplayer modes, including co-operative play and party mini-games.
The game later received digital releases for the Xbox 360 on Septemand the PlayStation 3 on March 11, 2010. It also features a new story involving a mysterious intruding fish terrorizing the waters off the Frenzy Coast. The sequel to the original Feeding Frenzy, Feeding Frenzy 2 features updated graphics and a variety of new power-ups and gameplay mechanics (including the ability to jump out of water, similar to Ecco the Dolphin). It also received a digital PC release via Steam on August 30, 2006.
Feeding Frenzy 2: Shipwreck Showdown is an aquatic action game developed by Sprout Games (later PopCap Games) and published by PopCap Games (along with GameHouse for some digital releases) for the PC on February 6, 2006.
